2026 FIRST NATIONS BUSINESS SHOWCASE

The Circle – First Nations Entrepreneur Hub presents the 2026 First Nations Business Showcase in partnership with the National Wine Centre of Australia and the National Indigenous Australians Agency.

As The Circle’s annual flagship event, the First Nations Business Showcase brings together a curated selection of First Nations-owned businesses from across South Australia. With up to 60 businesses exhibiting, the Showcase provides a unique opportunity for government, corporate and industry representatives to connect directly with First Nations suppliers, explore new business opportunities, and strengthen procurement and supply chain partnerships.

Held at the National Wine Centre’s premier venue, the 2026 Showcase is designed to foster meaningful connections, collaboration and commercial opportunities. The National Wine Centre’s partnership plays an important role in supporting the growth and visibility of First Nations enterprise across South Australia.

Continuing our commitment to celebrating and supporting First Nations businesses beyond Indigenous Business Month, the Showcase will be held on Wednesday 4 November 2026.

National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) Through the NIAA, the Australian Government has delivered the Indigenous Business and Employment Hubs program since 2018. The Circle, opened in 2021, followed the opening of Yarpa Hub in Sydney in 2018 and Waalitj Hub in Perth in 2020. The Hubs network also includes the Northern Territory Indigenous Business and Employment Hub opened in 2023 and the Palawa Business Hub in Tasmania opened in 2024. The Hubs program, including The Circle, responds to a call for better business support identified through successive consultations and co-design processes with First Nations businesspeople and leaders. The Australian Government funds a range of other initiatives that provide targeted support to First Nations people who are seeking to start up or develop businesses. This includes the Business Solutions Program delivered through Indigenous Business Australia and the Microenterprise Development Program delivered through Many Rivers Microfinance Ltd. The Australian Government also helps to drive demand for First Nations businesses’ goods and services through the Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) which seeks to increase the proportion of Commonwealth Government contracts that are secured by First Nations enterprises. Since the implementation of the IPP in 2015, First Nations businesses have secured over $15 billion in Australian Government contracting opportunities, this has involved over 97,000 contracts awarded to more than 4,500 participants.
