Jindawayni – Talking tax with mob – Community Yarning Session in Adelaide

Can you give your feedback and help come up with ideas for improving the tax system?
Tax isn’t something many people love to talk about, but it affects us all and plays a big role in everyday life.
We’re looking for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are willing to yarn with us about their experiences with tax and dealing with the Australian Taxation Office – what’s been hard, what’s confusing, and what could be done better.
We’re holding a yarning session in Adelaide
Friday 24 July 2026
11:00am–12:30pm
We create. print. deliver. (Business Incubator Space)
5/610 Regency Rd, Broadview SA 5083
These yarning sessions are being held on behalf of the Tax Ombudsman, the independent watchdog. Everything you share will be kept anonymous – your name and other details will not be shared with the Australian Taxation Office or used for any other purpose. Jindawayni is an Aboriginal-owned business, and the sessions will be run by Aboriginal staff.
