Indigenous Business Month at The Circle

In support of the 2021 theme, Powering the Indigenous Economy, The Circle delivered a number of free events in October for our members to connect to Industry, Government and Service Providers and to build their business-to-business relationships.

Our events included Pitching to Industry Partners; Experts In Residence; Networking Events; Major Projects Supply Chain Presentations and connection to online workshops.

Thank you to those involved for making these events a success.  The Circle team looks forward to delivering more of these opportunities throughout 2022.

Pitching to Industry Partners

The Downer Group

This event brought together representatives from Keolis Downer, DM Roads, Downer Rail Infrastructure and Spotless to provide The Circle's members with information about their projects and supply chain opportunities.

The event was held on 26 October 21 at Tauondi Aboriginal College and commenced with an Acknowledgement of Country from Bill Wilson and presentations from The Downer Group.

Presentations were followed by networking where our Members had one-on-one conversations to 'pitch' their products and services and make critical connections to real opportunities with the Downer Group.

With thanks to Edoardo Crismani - Aboriginal Film Maker for capturing the event; Tauondi Aboriginal College for hosting us, providing a cultural introduction at the Tauondi Gallery and their superb catering; Bill Wilson for the Acknowledgement of Country; The Downer Group and The Circle members.

Major Projects Supply Chain Presentation

SA Water

On 29 October 21, SA Water and their delivery partners, Lendlease, Fulton Hogan, SUEZ and McConnell Dowell provided a workshop of their forward procurement and supply chain opportunities. The presentation offered insight into supply chain opportunities and the process to become a contractor to SA Water.

We have officially launched!

The Circle Team is thrilled to say that we officially launched on 27 August 2021!

The launch event was much smaller than we had intended due to Covid, so we engaged

Edoardo Crismani, Aboriginal Film Maker and Colleen Raven, Nharla Photography to record

the event to share with you (below).

We'd like to say a big thank you to all involved in the establishment of the physical Hub here at Lot Fourteen; to our wonderful Members who provided Goods and Services for the launch; and to The Circle's Design and Delivery Team who have so generously donated their time, shared their knowledge and experience and guided the establishment of The Circle.

We are really excited to ramp up our activities and look forward to sharing more news, events and opportunities with you.

Check out our Membership Page to complete the membership application if you haven't already done so!
