SUMMARY:Melbourne Innovation Centre - Five Decisions Behind Every High-Converting Website - VIRTUAL
DESCRIPTION:This session is open to VIC / SA / TAS businesses in the Digital Solutions program. Not registered yet? Takes 2 minutes here.‍ \nIn this webinar\, you’ll learn the five decisions that determine whether a website converts. They apply whether you’re building for the first time or working with a site you already have. \nIf you’re building\, you’ll leave with a brief that tells a designer or developer exactly what the site needs to do. If you already have a site\, you’ll run the same five decisions across it as an audit and find out precisely which one you’ve missed\, because an underperforming website is almost always failing on one or two of the five rather than all of them. That’s the difference between a targeted fix and another full rebuild. \n‍ \nWhat you’ll learn\n\nDefine the single job your website must do\nIdentify the specific objection blocking your conversions\nHow to design the shortest possible path to action\, including the moment after someone submits a form\nWhat content and proof you need before a build starts\, and why writing copy to fit a finished design is backwards\nHow to turn the five decisions into a brief\n\nWhat you’ll leave with\n\nYour own five decisions worked through\, as a build brief or an audit of your existing site\nA prioritised list of what to change first\, based on impact rather than what’s easiest to fix\nThe confidence to judge design and developer proposals against what your site actually needs\n\nWho it’s for\nThis session is for business owners either about to build a website or sitting on one that draws visitors but not enquiries.
