SUMMARY:Melbourne Innovation Centre - SEO vs AEO: What Matters in 2026/2027 - VIRTUAL
DESCRIPTION:About this webinar:\nThis session is open to VIC / SA / TAS businesses in the Digital Solutions program. Not registered yet? Takes 2 minutes here. \nMost of us know we should “do SEO”\, but the ground has shifted. More and more\, people don’t scroll through a list of links\, they get a straight answer from Google’s AI or a tool like ChatGPT. That has quietly added a second thing to think about\, AEO\, and left a lot of business owners unsure what has changed or where to start. \nThis 45-minute session clears it up in plain language. We’ll explain what SEO and AEO each mean\, why the shift to AI answers matters for a business your size\, and the two or three things worth your attention first. No jargon\, and no technical background needed. \nWhat you’ll learn\n\nWhat SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) actually mean\, in plain English\nHow customers are finding businesses now that AI often gives a direct answer instead of a list of links\nWhy appearing in an AI answer is different from ranking on Google\, and why you want both\nThe handful of things that matter most for your visibility in 2026 and 2027\n\nWhat you’ll leave with\n\nA clear\, jargon-free way to explain SEO and AEO to anyone in your business\nYour own “money question”\, the exact question a customer would use to find you\, to work on\nA short view of where to focus first\, before you spend time or money\n\nWho it’s for\nThis session is for small business owners who want to be found online but aren’t sure where to start now that search is changing.
